This is the 20th anniversary event, and we are very excited to meet all of you to learn about all the exciting work that's taking place in the world of elasmobranchs!

The conference will be held on 16-19 June 2025, at the beautiful Mantra in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia.

Sunshine Coast is the home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the land, sea and sky country of the region. OCS acknowledge the Kabi Kabi and Jinibara peoples continuing connecting to land, waters, ocean, flora and fauna of the region. 

Located just an hour north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast is known for its pristine beaches, natural beauty, and laid-back atmosphere. The region is internationally recognised as a member of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO and is the only place in Australia where three UNESCO Biospheres sit side-by-side.
