The OCS is heading back to its roots in South East Queensland with our 2018 conference by holding it at Moreton Bay Research Station on North Stradbroke Island. The formation OCS was initially discussed by a group of like minded shark and ray scientists with a desire to connect the Pacific elamobranch science community within its own society. OCS's conception emanated from these discussions which began at MBRS many years ago. This year we're headed back to where it all began in what promises to be relaxed, informative, social and exciting annual conference.
